After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Wayanad . later drive to Edakkal caves and the full day tour ends with visit to Chembra peak (subject to time of arrival). ( If you opt to visit in the morning suggest to carry packed breakfast) Muthanga wild life sanctuary also known as waynad national park , located 16 KM east of sulthan batheri. The sanctuary established in 1973 and it borders on the parks of Nagarhole and Bandhipur of Karnataka on the northeast and mudumalai of tamilnadu on the south east. The sanctuary is Rich in bio-diversity and it is an integral part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. The Edakkal Cave is 96ft long, 22ft wide and 30ft high cleft formed by the vertical split of a rocky mountain. The rock wall is etched with carvings depicting human and animal figures and objects of human use. These carvings speak of a highly civilized people of pre-historic age, and have drawn the serious attention of archaeologists and historians worldwide. Chembra Peak is the highest peak in Wayanad district of Kerala. It is 2100m high and is a trekkers paradise. The whole of the Wayandu district can be seen from the peak when it is not foggy.
